Are the Twinkies in town? Target field is spectacular, in a Midwestern kind of way. It is no Phone Booth, but it is a really nice stadium if you get the chance to go. We were there two years ago for some games.

Are you going to the Niner game tomorrow in that awful, awful, baggie of a stadium?

They're out-of-town. Didn't realize that Target Field is close to Block E; thought it was across the river in St. Paul. Yep, I'm going to MOA Field (yuk!); last time I was there Erickson was the coach and we were behind 28-0 at the half.

Not exactly what you want out of a bases loaded no outs situation... But 2 runs is 2 runs!

Never been to a Vikings game there. Went to several Twinkies games, though. Really a weird venue for baseball, felt like the inside of a pinball machine.

Grew up in Minneapolis. My parents had season tickets for the Vikings from the beginning. While they sat in seats at the 50 yard line, my brother and I were dutifully sent off to the kid seats in the end zone. Many a teeth rattling bone chilling day spent at the old Met Stadium.

My fondest memory was a Vikings comeback win in the playoffs against the LA Lambs. LA had Roman Gabriel and the Vikes had Joe Kapp. Joe Kapp played like a giraffe on roller skates, but the dude could win. Down at halftime, the Vikes stormed back in the second half to throttle the Lambs.

Reminds me of a game at the Stick vs. the Saints back in 1980....Johnny Joe Idaho comes in behind 35-0 beginning of the third and we rally to win 38-35.

I'm sitting on the 40, about 15 rows behind the Niners bench. That fucking dome is LOUD. Like, painfully loud with the revved up motorcycles and whatnot. Should be a pretty quiet game tomorrow, though. :rip:
