Enjoy Chicago
Eh, the season resumes on Monday, imo.
Find where the party is at tonight and make tomorrow a football day.
I know a lot of people with tickets to tmw's game. At least he gets first crack at some of the sweet divisional champs gear.
I really like the silhouette of California covered in orange..as others have tweeted..there's your territorial rights
Yeah, I'll live. Awesome to watch it, and see all the interviews and chemistry in the celebrating.
Also the wife and I just had a nice celebration of our own.
Playoffs baby!
What? No :bj:
Enjoy the game, should be a good crowd in a great mood.
softening em up for tomorrow, eh?
(no trap game jinx)
So how do we handle the rotation?
Rest them for a few days, then have an 80 pitch limit or so?
Never been in this position before!
(That's what my wife just said)
Woohooooooo!
Couldn't watch the game, because I was at the Oregon football game. But boy I still got a lot of satisfaction when I started to hear a faint "Lets go Giants" around the crowd of 60,000 screaming duck fans. I knew it only meant one thing.
Yup, just a downtrodden type of dude. Headcase.
That's one thing I like about Pence. He hasn't done well at all, but he's always smiling and he's always hustling down the line. Good team guy even tho he has had poor numbers.
Posey doesn’t like talking about his own accomplishments, but his teammates sure like talking about what he does. Hunter Pence led a short postgame ceremony for Posey, who was given a gift by the rest of the team. Even with a little prodding, nobody would reveal what it was.
“This was pretty special to have been a part of,” Pence said. “He’s humble and he doesn’t want any recognition. He told us he’s just looking forward to the playoffs and that ‘Little League’ feeling that you get.
“But we got him something special. He’s the best hitter in the National League – the numbers don’t lie.”
Is Posey the MVP?
“Absolutely,” Pence said. “He’s the MVP.”
