Well, that could have gone better.

Tough loss as Cain gets ripped off from a win. Bullpen broke down in the 9th which has not happened all year. Romo had nothing but was all out on fumes. Casilla started the 9th and had trouble. Of all the teams you can't let the Mets score 4 runs in the 9th to beat you.

Good to see Cain though tonight . He was dominant and that is your positive player of the night.

Two weeks left of Giants baseball until March. I intend to enjoy them.

And that's what I'm focusing on. Horse has been CY caliber since the DL. Bum is nails, Petit looks like a piece of the rotation, Timmy and Tron looking decent, and Grope could be a piece if resigned.

The rotation might not be the problem folks are perceiving it to be.

^^ I agree. The 'pen is kinda trashy. Any word on whether or not Romo pulled a hammy or anything yesterday? I saw a quick clip of him grabbing his leg after a throw and (Papa, maybe) making a comment that he might've tweaked something. I was pissy so I turned the TV off because didn't want to watch any more.

I'm not worried about the bully. Romo/JA/KCya/JLo/Machi/Dunning/Mijares is pretty good, and we've got Grope, Kickham and Surkamp for long relief (assuming Grope and JLo are re-signed).
