God damn McGee looked like a playoff closer that inning. He was filthy. Throwing a lot of sliders and finally mixing pitches and it's working

I think my WS pick this year will be the Brewers. Their pitching is just filthy…
Yeah you want to be pitching led come playoff time. Offense is fun and all but it's harder in the playoffs. Still really enjoying this season no matter how it ends

:dhd:
Nope.
MLB has numerous "unwritten rules", "superstitions" and "rituals" which go back decades...which I totally understand.
The whole "jinx/reverse curse" thingy for some reason mainly applies to no hitters in progress, and it's silly imho.
But when it come to a particular outcome of any given series??.....LOL.

C'mon, mang.

Stop showing your true colors, bro.
It's cool, dude.

The Giants will sweep the Mets.
Nothing wrong with admitting it beforehand.

Carry on with your alleged little "reverse jinx" theory though.

Not that there's anything wrong with that mind you.

:pound:

Peace out.

I was referring to his titles and etc etc etc
You should have been around back in the championship years. We all did nicknames every post. And if you weren’t a reg, you would have no idea who we were talking about.

I agree that this has been a great season as it unfolds. But .... I'm not so sure I'll be able to separate the regular season from the post season no matter how it all turns out. If we finish with the BRIB and have 100 or more wins than I will definitely have some very real expectations for the post season. To finish with anything around 100 wins for me .... means we were damn good all year long. You don't win anywhere near 100 games just by being lucky. But as we all know ... the playoff are a crapshoot .... in 2010 and 2012 and 2014 we were underdogs ...and we won it all. As of this point in the season .... I think we may actually be front runners ... a very strange position for us Giant fans
....

Baseball playoffs are so random you just have to roll with it. Mariners won 116 games and lost in the first round. It just feels like a challenge when the pitching is shaky. Milwaukee might have the best shot, or the Dodgers of course.

I remember all those nicks.

The most famous, of course, was Nick Lowry.
