I would rather see Duffy in Sacto next year. I think he can be a starter. Further, Arias is fine as the Util1 and I don't want to give up on EA yet. However, if we can use EA, Duffy and/or Hactor in a trade for a SP or another OF, I will be OK with that...

Dodgers are 12-16 against the central and the Cubs are 14-16 against the west. Need the Cubs to take at least 2.

To be honest I thought after falling 4 games back there was no way to win the division just the wildcard but yet only 2 games back..

Cant believe the Rox actually took 2 from the Bums. That is HUGE!!

Now, if we can take 3 from the Puds and the Chubs can take 2 from the Bums, we go into the big series next week down 1, which means we only have to win the series to tie the division.

Just like I was hoping, Coors/the Rocks roughed up the Dudgers pitching staff. Hopefully that continues in Wrigley......

OK, the bad news is that except for Craw, the rest of our regulars went hitless.

We actually don't have our 4-gamer until next week.

If we take 2 and the dogs split, we will be 1.5 back going into the big series. We will need to sweep to avoid exiting that series in second place. I would be OK being .5 back going home to host the Peds for 4. If we win game 1 of that series, we will be tied with 3 to play (dogs close at home against the Rox).

From there, we may not get it done, but at least it is doable.
