Interesting move to pull Winn after only 4 innings and 76 pitches. Yes, his 3rd inning was bad but the other 3 were good. Not sure why you'd burn the bullpen so early on a doubleheader day.

Because we're not done giving up runs to the worst team in the NL?
I've been thinking, recently, that Walker is getting overused. I think we are seeing the results of it. This bullpen may be wearing down and that is most concerning if we make the playoffs.

I predicted exactly this in a thread a few weeks ago. With no run scoring, all the games are close and tense and the pitchers get run down (including Doval) until they aren't all that close anymore.

Playoff team? :noidea:

It'd be grimly funny if we finish the year 81-81 again

This Kauffmann fella for the Rockies is quite some pitcher. What is his ERA? 7.28!?!? That must have been before his 4 outstanding innings agianst the Giants. That is AFTER the innings, you say!?!?!

Aie aie aie!!!!! EZ NOT all good!!!!

Stripling is the first Giants' pitcher to allow ONLY 1 run in an inning today. We won't mention that he is the 3rd pitcher of the game for the Giants. Whoops, I just did.

IF we make the playoff (IFFFFF) we ain’t getting past whomever we play in the first round. I, personally, don’t really care if we make the playoffs this year. This is a BAD team that isn’t going anywhere.

If not for the basketballization of the MLB, playoffs wouldn’t even be a passing thought for this team on the way to the john at 2:00 AM.

Not as good as the early 90s when we had Black and Decker…
I'm still sore that Decker never worked out as their catcher of the future. And that reminds me, what happened to him being the next manager after Bochy retired? Oh that's right, FZ happened.
