I'm torn on this streak.

On one hand, I think the guys are getting a good dose of playoff pressure/atmosphere, which might calm them down a little come October. On the other hand, last night was the first night I saw overwhelmingly emotional play from them in pursuit of this streak - I don't want them to be emotionally/mentally spent heading into the playoffs.

Fuck. I'm so nervous.

He doesn't have a marked advantage in pitching numbers, but he does in WAR. So WAR is suggesting that Sale is that much better of a fielder? I'm not buying.

Nah has nothing to do with fielding. Fangraphs WAR relies heavily on "fielding independent" numbers. Sale has a .298 BABIP while Kluber a .264 so fangraphs is arguing that Kluber is benefiting from better fielding behind him, hence the lower ERA.

I didn't say that no team could beat them in the playoffs. I said the Dbacks and Rockies couldn't, and I reminded a poster who won the series between Washington and Los Angeles last year.
