Salazar is off the DL, shit the bed in his first start back and then they brought him out of the bullpen a few days ago, so I don't know what the plan is.

After the top three, there's plenty of options. Clevinger, Salazar, Tomlin, Merritt.

I don't disagree that it's often the case, but isn't it kind of retard logic? "Instead of winning Game 4 with our ace, let's run out a lesser pitcher, so we can win Game 5 with our ace."
