My concern isn't in the Giants pretending to go after Harper and Machado. My concern is the consolation prize that they pick up when it becomes obvious that neither will sign with SF.

Chris Shaw really needs to work on his pitch selection. It seems his mental process during his at-bats is swing at everything and hope the bat runs into something good.

I think Belt kept his foot on the bag but that is a hard one for the review in NY.

Well, at least this streak will help the FO with the “blow up” decision...

I don't understand how all the stadiums aren't equipped with better/more cameras in the ballpark. If you're going to have replay, get it f***ing right with the tools you have at your expense. No reason they can get exact looks on pretty much everything

It's not like the Giants are losing every game 10-4. All the games in the "streak" have been relatively close.

2-1
4-1
9-8
6-2
5-3
4-2
4-3
6-3
4-1
4-1

What stands out is the complete and utter suckitude at the plate. Even today, going into the 9th, the Giants had two innings with the bases loaded and one out, and hit into inning ending GIDP in both. They are 1-10 with RISP.

I don't really give a flying flip about batting average with RISP, I DO give a flying flip about someone who can drive in runs. And for the last 2.5 years, the Giants have not had such a hitter. If they hit .220 and K 150 times, but drive in 90 runs, who cares?

And what is with all the taking called strike threes? Don't you have to protect and swing? :L

0-September

Longest losing streak in SF history.

Well, done, fellas! You are in the record books!

The announcers on Facebook (including Krukow) kept talking about how the Giants have the 2nd best team ERA since June 1st but have been hitting .190 as a team this month. Really pathetic.

But he's really a crappy pitcher masquerading as a decent pitcher. - one of tzill's alts
tzill is secretly a Holland fan. He didn't agree with my pathetic game comment. In fact, he disliked it.
