Eureka!

Intelligence can somewhat be traced to heredity, but it isn't guaranteed.

Diamonds in the rough, per say, pop up every now and again. Even in spots like Iowa. Unfortunately, we have seen zero proof of such an anomaly here tonight.

I got what you were saying and i agree. I think a nebraska loss kills iowa in regards to a playoff spot,

Does a 13-0 Iowa DESERVE a spot in the CFP?

We all know if Iowa has any losses, they will have no shot at CFP. None. 0% chance. But should 13-0 B1G Champion Iowa deserve a top 4 spot?

No.

What I'm saying is that Nebraska needs to beat Iowa so that when they go to the Big 10 Championship game, and they somehow win that game; they will still be left out of the CFP because of their loss to Nebraska and their Baylor-lite schedule.

You're old enough to know the Big 10 has always been the most pimped conference in football. The SEC has taken a lot of it away, but a good deal of that has been deserved.

Bama and ND are the only 1 loss teams ahead of them now.

Alabama - @Auburn, SEC CCG
Notre Dame - Stanford

Oklahoma St - Baylor, Oklahoma
Oklahoma - TCU, @ Oklahoma St
Florida - Florida St, SEC CCG
Michigan St - @ Ohio St, Penn St
Baylor - @ Oklahoma St, @ TCU, Texas
North Carolina - @ Va Tech, @ N.C. State, ACC CCG
TCU - @ Oklahoma, Baylor

It's not impossible for all of the other P5's to have 2 losses.

I've seen just as strange.

You just spent way too much time for that reach.

Does a 13-0 Iowa DESERVE a spot in the CFP?

Is this a philosophical question?

Like - if a tree falls in the woods with nobody around, does it make a sound?

However, let us all know when dandelions start growing out of your ass.

Definitely.

I'm confused I guess. 1-loss Iowa, no matter how or where, will not get in CFP. They will be in Pasadena. 2-loss Iowa would probably drop to Citrus Bowl, maybe get Peach Bowl.

You guys make it sound like Iowa fans don't understand Iowa is on thin ice. I think if the top 6 teams in CFP Poll wins tomorrow, Iowa drops to 6th and maybe 7th. It doesn't matter though. Iowa 13-0, they are in with nobody but Cowherd questioning it.

My bad. I thought you were old enough to remember 2007.

It was a shit comparison. And it took you way too much BS to get to the point.

It sucked.

What point are you trying to make?

Well that all depends on what the other teams records are etc. While normally you have a 5 conference swing, ND in the mix kind of makes it 6.

Oklahoma, Clemson, Notre Dame and Alabama win out - Iowa is out.

The point I'm trying to make is that you have a head full of sand.

12-0 Iowa that would just beat 12-0 #3 Ohio State as B1G Champions will stay behind a 1-loss Notre Dame who would have no wins over a top 5 team and no conference championship to win.

IMO, ND and OU would be fighting for #4.

I think the teams that get a spot if they win out are ACC-Clemson, SEC-Alabama/Florida, B1G-Ohio State/Iowa, and Big 12-Oklahoma State

Dude just came back from Disney Land and believes anything and everything can happen.

Give him another week or so. It will all come into perspective for this young poster.

Iowa is a nobody. Notre Dame and Oklahoma are somebodies. Iowa will get left out like a dog with the mange.

And both their SoS is better than Iowa's.
