Oh Holy Fuck Christmas.

My Huskers owe the entire nation an apology if we don't beat this absolute fraud of a football team so they don't sneak into the B10 Championship game and somehow pull the miraculous upset to get a gift into the CFP.

Illinois State

Pitt
North Texas
@ Wisconsin
Illinois
Northwestern
Maryland
@ Indiana
Minnesota
Purdue
@ Nebraska

Boise State fans laugh at that shitstorm of patheticness.

If they beat Purdue tomorrow they lock up the west. Won't matter what happens @ Nebraska

If i buy 9000 tickets can we just admit iowa is really good and call it a day :noidea:

If you buy 9,000 tickets for an Iowa/Purdue football game, then you need to give me $1 million to kick you in the nuts.

LOL Iowa is a legitimate playoff contender. I doubt that they make the field of four, but they deserve credit for winning all of their games.

I changed my mind I found a better charity. Donating money to girls in need of clothes at the local strip club. Even if they do have better attendance than Iowa football

Let me guess, Nebraska would have the same record with the same schedule, right?

What does it matter?

It will be settled on the field come 11/27.

A 5-6 team vs an 11-0 team. Possibly the first time in college football history that an 11-0 team will be an underdog to a 5-6 team.

I have said it before, Nebraska game scares me. Iowa has a ton to lose and Nebraska has a guarantee to lose, but they still can make a bowl (they should with how they lost and they beat MSU).

Who wants to go to an Iowa football game when you can instead watch the corn grow?

You are misreading my post.

Fair enough.

It can be read different ways.

You're saying they need to be undefeated to make the P/O. That's likely.

However, what if they lose a close one (<7) to Ohio St, wind up 12-1, and the rest of the P5's all have at least 2 loses?

Does anybody other than an iowgian think they're really the #5 team in the country now? They're ahead of 6 won loss teams though.

Spoken like a true mid-major.

I wish y'all would join a P5 though. You'd finish in the top half.

No.

What I'm saying is that Nebraska needs to beat Iowa so that when they go to the Big 10 Championship game, and they somehow win that game; they will still be left out of the CFP because of their loss to Nebraska and their Baylor-lite schedule.

I believe what you're saying is if Nebraska gives them a loss a 1 loss Iowa team with a cionference championship. Doesn't slip in over a 1 loss team with a better SOS than say Oklahoma or a few others

Eureka!

Intelligence can somewhat be traced to heredity, but it isn't guaranteed.

Diamonds in the rough, per say, pop up every now and again. Even in spots like Iowa. Unfortunately, we have seen zero proof of such an anomaly here tonight.
