You are allowed 8 Hall of Fame players.

Matchups will be posted prior to the draft starting.

All drafted players must have played their first game in the 1970's or 1980's.

Why have two decades then? Just about every draft we have done has some kind of restriction... Honestly it feels like no matter what my idea is you'll have something negative to say about it.

Was that the last one? Guess the NFL Draft mock draft made me forget that. Funny pretty sure the only two drafts I've won were that one and the current player NFL Mock lol.

Why have two decades then? Just about every draft we have done has some kind of restriction... Honestly it feels like no matter what my idea is you'll have something negative to say about it.

restrictions are supposed to make the draft more challenging... I don't see this restriction doing so...

the 2 restrictions I would like for a draft like this is either

1. All offense from the 80s and all defense from the 70s or vise versa
2. no 2 offensive players can be taken from the same year, and same for defense...

But your restriction really does nothing for strategy and has such minimal affect...

Making all offense taken from the 80's doesn't involve any more stategy than what I suggested. It just gives you less years to draft from.

No two players from the same year is something we have done in the past and it didnt seem like people liked it.

How about 70's and 80's wide open, only 7 HOF maximum. I think with 22 starters, 7 would allow you to go with a 4-3 split O/D, or load one side of the ball with 7 HOF'ers. Guys would play it differently, making the matchups interesting. JMO

I like this much better than the 50/50...

Which makes it harder... the 50/50 will have such minimal affect to the draft that it is pointless...

Too be honest i've stopped caring what your opinions are. These drafts are suppose to be fun they were never intended to be hard, just some guys who love sports getting together talking sports and drafting teams. I don't care what we decide as far as what we do with the next draft as long as we can have fun with it.

Nah, you just have an alpha personality like I do and those people tend to clash. Nothing personal on my part. I will say I don't like that it seems you bash every single thing I say or idea I have... But maybe I do the same who knows... But seriously no need to step away, a little give and take is good for the ticker!

Not the case. Me and Nos are buddies, and we've butted heads plenty. You both know your stuff, sometimes there is more than one correct answer

I think the 7 HOF is a good number. Do you hit the primary spots...QB, LT, pass rush end, #1 WR, shutdown corner, run stopper and RB?. Do you say entire front 7 on D? Entire OL plus QB and RB? 2 WR's plus TE and entire secondary? Front 4 plus 3 OL? Lots of ways to build a great football team
