When we are hitting, we are very good hitting whatever the count. But when we are not hitting, we do not seem to change our approach.

I like Rizzo, but if I was pitching in the big leagues....he'd be on his ass until he backed off the plate.

I have noticed this as well.

I think the strategy is to not make our hitters over-think. As a group, they are very good early-count hitters. If, in a slump, the strategy gets chNged, now you are messing with their rythm and that has much worse long-term affects.

I like the idea of bunting there though.

I hope we aren't going to waste our first solidly pitched game in a while. Our bats tend to disappear on the last game of a shitty road trip however.
