I'm just here to troll everyone
Yet another example of the stupid 'wins' stat. Guess who got the win today?
FYWW (Doval excepted)
FYWW (Doval excepted)
Thx for the stats, it sure seems he's been worse than 22:5.He's blown 5 saves out of 27 tries, which is for sure not good but do we know a committee does better? Do those ever really work?
And who's got better stuff than him?
Tito never came here. Minor point, but I can get a bit ADD on occation…A former denizen of the board nailed it: small sphincters. Although to be fair, he accused a former pitcher of having this condition when the team scored few runs for him, something completely out of the pitcher's control. Still, said denizen may have been on to something...
I am SOOOO done with this guy.Unbelievable, Doval. Just unbelievable. 3 runs on 2 walks and a dinger
Yeah…Innings 1-8 both teams score 4 runs total
9th inning both teams score 6 runs total
Baseball is a funny game.
His ERA reflects non save debacles like giving up 4 runs when he came in with a 9 run lead for mop up work (I was at that game)Thx for the stats, it sure seems he's been worse than 22:5.
Who should close instead? Maybe Taylor Rogers?I am SOOOO done with this guy.
Tito was for sure part of this board in the early years, maybe just 2010...he was sheepish after ripping them all year and they won the Series and then he disappearedTito never came here. Minor point, but I can get a bit ADD on occation…
Saw Romo being interviewed during the delay today..... lookin' pretty goodWho should close instead? Maybe Taylor Rogers?
It also includes gave-save situations where he comes in with a 3-run lead and gives up 3 runs. His ERA reflects non save debacles like giving up 4 runs when he came in with a 9 run lead for mop up work (I was at that game)
Tough year for sure
Taylor is the first option. Hjelle has been nails this season. Maybe he gets a look see. Miller?Who should close instead? Maybe Taylor Rogers?
Yeah I loved this kid last year, never seen such good closing work ever for this team. Crazy good stuff. I wonder why it's not working this year. Relievers often struggle to be great long term, maybe he got figured out?It also includes gave-save situations where he comes in with a 3-run lead and gives up 3 runs.
“This board” as in the Disney board. But he never came HERE.Tito was for sure part of this board in the early years, maybe just 2010...he was sheepish after ripping them all year and they won the Series and then he disappeared
I don't know if I would oppose trading Doval and going with Rogers, a big step down from 2023 Doval but a big step up from 2024 Doval. You just know we'd deal him and he'd be awesome for the new team LOLTaylor is the first option. Hjelle has been nails this season. Maybe he gets a look see. Miller?
I'll defer to you there, I was barely at Disney when the exodus here happened, and it was before the first title, and I could have sworn he posted here after that but could be wrong. Not super important lol“This board” as in the Disney board. But he never came HERE.
“Getting figured out” doesn’t typically result in starting the walk-parade.Yeah I loved this kid last year, never seen such good closing work ever for this team. Crazy good stuff. I wonder why it's not working this year. Relievers often struggle to be great long term, maybe he got figured out?
It is probably the park.I don't know if I would oppose trading Doval and going with Rogers, a big step down from 2023 Doval but a big step up from 2024 Doval. You just know we'd deal him and he'd be awesome for the new team LOL
Then the question becomes, why didn't he show those problems last year?“Getting figured out” doesn’t typically result in starting the walk-parade.
He has done it with lack of control, no movement on his pitches, lackadaisical pitch location, bad pfp…
Dude is bringing it in all facets of the game.
