Yet another example of the stupid 'wins' stat. Guess who got the win today?

He's blown 5 saves out of 27 tries, which is for sure not good but do we know a committee does better? Do those ever really work?

And who's got better stuff than him?

A former denizen of the board nailed it: small sphincters. Although to be fair, he accused a former pitcher of having this condition when the team scored few runs for him, something completely out of the pitcher's control. Still, said denizen may have been on to something...

Tito never came here. Minor point, but I can get a bit ADD on occation…

His ERA reflects non save debacles like giving up 4 runs when he came in with a 9 run lead for mop up work (I was at that game)

Tito never came here. Minor point, but I can get a bit ADD on occation…

Tito was for sure part of this board in the early years, maybe just 2010...he was sheepish after ripping them all year and they won the Series and then he disappeared

Yeah I loved this kid last year, never seen such good closing work ever for this team. Crazy good stuff. I wonder why it's not working this year. Relievers often struggle to be great long term, maybe he got figured out?

I don't know if I would oppose trading Doval and going with Rogers, a big step down from 2023 Doval but a big step up from 2024 Doval. You just know we'd deal him and he'd be awesome for the new team LOL

He has done it with lack of control, no movement on his pitches, lackadaisical pitch location, bad pfp…
