Baggs had a chat today, I asked him about Giants-Castillo

"Ben Badler of Baseball America rules the roost on international signings and he has the Giants as one of the four finalists for Castillo. It makes sense since they are super thin on outfielders in the system, and they can't count on Pagan playing 125-plus games. (He's done that only twice in his career.) Castillo is said to be major-league ready, but not the kind of impact hitter Puig and Cespedes have been. The Giants have been active in bidding for Cuban players and offered five years to Jose Abreu. I do think they're going to make a push for him. Now, having said that, I have no idea how good Castillo can be. Just going off what others are saying since I've never seen him play"

Oxy = Angel Pagan, an oxymoron, get it?

Stamos = Crawford (looks like John Stamos)

Kobe = Arias (looks like Kobe Bryant)

Giraffe (BB9) = Belt

FPOM = First Pitch Out Made

GIDP = Ground Into Double Play (also PBF, as before)

SDI = SHut Down Inning
