Must be facing a lefty with all those RHH in the lineup. Noggin seems to be creating lineups by pulling numbers out of a hat, though. Slow guys at the top of the lineup, fast guys at the bottom. Mix it up, see if it works.

Aramis Garcia is out of the lineup again for Richmond, but Posey is back in there. Could be on the taxi squad

As of yesterday, Freeman was on the taxi squad. Haven’t heard anything today outside of “Posey is fine”.

Yeah the writers haven't said anything, so Garcia is probably on his way back to join Richmond. Someone probably would have noticed by now

OT: The Padres are dismantling their team, after the July deadline, simply by letting other teams claim their guys off waivers. The Cardinals got Tyson Ross and the Brewers got Jordan Lyles.

The 4th outfielder is now 0 for 2 in the game. Shouldn't they send him to AAA immediately to get his swing back?

Giants could have claimed him, but didn't. Certainly could have used him. He's probably owed around $700k for the rest of the season, but apparently the Giants are too close to the tax line that even that would be too much to take on.

That’s the speculation from the talking heads. They are just toooooo close to the line to even afford that.

Sometimes, Bochy's hook seems a bit fast. Holland was under 90 pitches and got a dangerous hitter out. Why pull him?

I've gotta say, the way Boch has handled Holland this year has been on point. He hasn't been shy about taking him out when matchups dictate it, 3rd time through the order etc.

IDK why he doesn't do it with anyone else

And they proceeded to not allow Goldy to kill us.

I like.
