Slater has been showing why he is considered nothing more than a 4th OFer. His OF defense is starting to look Huff-bad.

The team was lucky that his horrible misplay yesterday did not effect the game. And that was a day after he looked pretty good at 1st base. I wonder if he is pressing on both sides of the ball to prove he belongs.

Godley has been absolute nailz or utter shite versus the Giants this year.

In two games he's gone 14 innings allowing just 5 hits an no runs.

In the two other games, he's gone 7.1 innings allowing 14 hits and 14 runs

I wasn't expecting a series win against the D-Backs. This game looks bad but I'll take the series we had to close out the season series against the D-Backs (assuming we lose, we still take the season series 11-8).
