Just out walking my puppy. I forgot how much energy puppies have (our most recent dogs died at 13, by which time they could neither see nor hear, and slept almost 24/7).

The new one has helped my walking. After both hips replaced a few years ago, I am averaging 9.5 miles/day.

There is a guy here in the valley who walks 21 miles a day, and spends a few hours in the gym. He used to be grossly overweight and had all the bad habits you could name. His wife passed away, and his doctor told him, "You better make some changes if you don't want to join her soon." So the dude has lost about 250 pounds, eats healthy, quit smoking, and is sort of a local legend. He walks around a local park (1/4 mile on each side), and there is always a crowd walking with him a la Forest Gump's running.

I am not certain I have walked 9.5 miles since your surgery...

Alright Strat, let's see what you've got. Can't say I agree with the move here, though

Agree. Too close a game and he is already above 100 pitches.

At the same time, stretch the kid out and see what he has. Make him hit the wall and see how he reacts.

Why is Pence playing tonight instead of Belt?

8 clean from Strat.

Who is that guy?

Vogey for pitching coach!
Really surprised that Bochy sent him back out for the 8th. Doesn't seem to be Bochy's MO, regardless of how tired the bullpen is. Really glad it worked out so well. Stratton was nails tonight.

Pretty good gig for Vogey. Does one thing to Stratton, gets all the credit. This honestly could get him a job
