I used to look forward to Lincecum's starts. Not anymore. I dread the numbers he puts up, and have little confidence that he can figure it out. And the Giants just don't seem to hit when he pitches anyway. A perfect storm or steaming doo.

Well yeah. The days of 'Happy Lincecum Day' to start his GDTs went away a while ago. Now the only question is, is this year an aberration or is this who he is now? I'm afraid it's pretty obvious which.

So the question is still: who's our 4th starter if we make the playoffs? Might depend on the opponent. If it's Atlanta it's Zito, etc.

The 5th was Timmy's best inning. So ironically he will probably go 6 and give up 3 runs, a QS. And yet it feels like a bad game for him because with Hudson on the mound you almost assume if they got a lead they'd never lose it.
