Giants leading 2-1 in the 2nd

Ramos with the two run bomb

Ray gives up a walk to a sub-.200 hitter, who promptly steals 2nd, then scores on a single.

The stats for Woo look fantastic, and he is only 24. Doesn't walk anyone (1/9 innings), his WHIP is an insane 0.82

Don't know about his durability, but seems like a pretty good young pitcher.

Woo is the real deal. I think he's a bay area kid too.

Ray settling down, but only on pace to go five.

Bryan Joseph Woo…graduated from Alameda (CA) High School in 2018… spent three seasons at Cal Poly State University (2019-21)…had surgery on right elbow prior to being drafted.

Let’s trade for him.

Ray needs to stop walking batters.

Listen to the first 2 innings on the radio and heard Miller talk about the Ramos homer. Turned the game on when I got home and Pence is still talking about it.

You were wondering when the mittphukery would show up...and there it is.

2-2 and it feels like we're losing.

He had some encouraging starts but his 2024 season wasn't enough to make the opt out worthwhile. I agree, he is opting in.
And we WANT THAT

Why you people are not as psyched as me to have 3 legit ace level pitchers on the team next year baffles me. If we keep Snell we got 3 aces and plenty of very good options for the 4th and 5th starters. This is the foundation of all our titles.

Nothing personal, but most of your GDT posts feel like we are losing. Mine are mainly in the offseason.
and lo and behold, we are losing.

Just another shitty series against a mediocre team.

This is not a serious offense.

I guess 0-0 with RISP is an improvement??

that was a tough loss
FZ had some rough fortune cookies
Soler didnt hit
Snell and Ray missed too much time
PB struggled
Korean fast guy got injured right away
Estrada and Flores not healthy
A tough year
I’m actually thinking they’ve done well to be at .500

the only thing that has really disappointed me is the managing style
Not daring or creative
But Chapman seems to think he’s great so I guess. ……

I like Cray-Cray. Some solid, if not spectacular, outfielders. They aren't re-treads and are not totally boring so we're kinda in uncharted territory. Of course this assumes FZ doesn't ship the lot of 'em off the Seattle for Haniger this off season

Looking at the schedule there's not a lot to root for. Usually we can look forward to a spoiler role or maybe a series win against the Doggies. Strange schedule

I think I'm still in the running for the pre-season prediction poll, so the season so I guess there's that....

I’m gonna be watching Chapman and Ramos to see if either can reach 30. 30 games remaining.

Admittedly, I don't know anything going on behind the scenes. But........

Late in the game, McCray had a two out single. Casali (who hits worse than I do) was at the plate. And not once did McCray attempt to steal 2nd. Why the heck not? Take a chance. He has the speed. Maybe the Mariner catcher throws it into CF. Maybe the pitcher gets rattled and balks. Maybe there is a wild pitch.

Instead, same old boring Giants offense. Either hit a home run or we settle for runners left on base, station to station ball. If you have some speed (like Fitz and McCray), use it!

Just saw a comment that the Mariners had more walks than hits. Giants gave up 21 walks and 4 HBP over the series. That's 25 FREE bases. :L

Exactly!!! Why doesn’t Melvin try anything??
It’s boring
