What a terrible fucking year for Panik. Take out those first two games and he's just been utter shit

Oh, and Gearrin strands his three inherited runners by striking out Belt and Long to end the 8th. :L

If he had pitched more like that, he'd still be a Giant.

I refuse to believe that was actually him. Some guy named Geese

GorKys .208 in July, .137 in August.

Pre-ASB .277 with 11 homers and 30 RBI

Post-ASB .149 with 2 homers and 5 RBI (pathetic!)

We need some hitters who will hit the entire season, not just a six week stretch.

Gearrin dominates his old team. Can guarantee Dyson will get lit up by his old one.

I read an article recently where the writer mentioned those two games and I thought to myself "Oh yeah, that was this year!" Of course we all knew he couldn't keep up that pace but did we expect him to hit like this the rest of the way?

Here's a change I'd love to see the FO make - change the philosophy that you hide or play through serious injuries because you want to contribute (or feel like you aren't a team player if you don't play through the injuries). I wonder how much of that has hurt this team by players doing so.

Yet we've had two full seasons (in the past three years) where the whole team's offense went in the tank the 2nd half. I know I sound like a broken record now but it sounds like a conditioning issue to me.

Maybe focus. Possible that Boch has lost the clubhouse.

Lather-Rinse-Repeat

Very well could be.

The hiding of injuries or playing through injuries may also be part of this.

"Coach, I know I am hitting a buck fifty in the last month and have no power, but I want to keep playing and help the club!"

Huh?!?

We're up 6-0 early with our second best pitcher going. He leaves with a 6-2 lead. No sweat, right?

Then the bully melts down.

And the hitter crawl back into the safe spaces and stop hitting.

2018 has been a wonderful year so far!
