I just wish the loss wouldn't go to Bum. Except for that one pitch down and in that was golfed out, he pitched a helluva game. Getting Cained by this awful, awful offense.

Saw another post on the Pavlovic's blog claiming that the Giants' undoing in 2013 was the pitching. There is certainly a case for that, as the 2012 Giants gave up 4.01 runs per game, and the 2013 Giants are giving up 4.48 runs per game, a .47 increase.

However, at the same time the 2012 Giants scored 4.43 runs per game, and the 2013 Giants are at 3.78 a game (and 3.12 post-ASB), a .65 decrease.

Combined, the difference is more than a run (1.12) per game more than 2012.

Bucs' new closer is good. in 58 innings, he has a WHIP of 0.82, more than a K per inning, and a K/BB ratio of 7-1 (only 8 walks).

I don't know the whole story, but there was a glitch when the whole vCash thing started that gave GS all those points. They could not fix it without resetting everyone, so they just let it be.
