Sad. Posey is a mere shadow of the hitter he was. Still a GG catcher, but on an offensively challenged team, need more from him.

So depressing that this team will not sell ANY of its assets.

Again, I can’t “blame” this FO, EVER, but it certainly seems that they prefer to win headlines (or, more accurately, to not LOSE headlines) than do what is needed to win championships.

Unless they sell this week. Then I will be pleasantly surprised (and this team does do right by me more often than not, to be fair).

Posey’s days of hitting 4th are over, and have been for a while. He has no power anymore, and will be lucky to get to 50 RBI’s this season. But scoring runs is beneath us, I guess.

Is he potentially correct that it is time to close off Triples Ally? Is this park in the hitters heads?

I hate that I am even considering this, but there has to be SOME reason for this pitiful hitting display.

It's really sad. It's a seller's market right now. They don't even have to sell the core pieces. Cutch, Dyson and field calls for Watson, Smith and Hanson. Cutch and Dyson would (should) be easy to part with, and if you get blown away with an offer for the latter three (quite possible), you shouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger.

The Royals got a GG caliber CFer that can play right now! He can help them win games now! The Giants can do that too.

Now 8-13 for the month, guess we were all pretty optimistic after a good June.

But this is who they are. A .500 team at best.

Can’t win if you can’t score runs.

They actually have hit much better at home this year. Much, much better.
