Ever since Snell had his “spring training” and got over his injuries he’s turned in a 5 game stretch (including today) that is among the best I can remember watching on this team. Goodness.

We have 3 ace level starters healthy now and 2 talented youngsters that’s gotta be the best rotation in the game. Plus an easy schedule the rest of the way. Not saying they make the playoffs for sure but it’s not that crazy to root for.

The ones who talk about these things have started to compare De La Cruz to Rickey Henderson...he has 18 HRs and 55 SBs this year, only Rickey has done that to this point in a season.

I was in Cincinnati last year for four games against the Giants. I was very impressed with De La Cruz. He is a tall, lean, FAST human being. And he has a good deal of baseball sense. Although I think Bailey threw him out twice in the four games, DLC also went from 1st to 3rd on an infield out. Most Giants can't get from 1st to 3rd on a home run!

Cincy was the only ballpark I went to that had walk-up ticket sales. Every other stadium was online only.

I have quietly been on the Fitz bandwagon for a few years. He is fast and he can hit, and is a decent (not stellar) fielder. Did not see the power surge coming!

Yup. By far, the most popular jersey I saw around town was his. Not a scientific survey, just my own eyeballs. When I saw a local interview with him, my first thought was Magic Johnson (different sport, similar personality).
