The TJ surgery is why he has played only 1st and DH. He has played 3 innings at 3B this year, but he still cannot make the throws to 1st (it would seem)

Didn't he take reps at 3rd in summer training and didn't Kapler defend his reps there when there were questions about his physical fitness?
