It was borderline (he did fall on Niemi's right leg pad just as the puck bounced off the boards and Niemi's pad was alllllmost in the crease -- hah!) but yeah, had it been someone else, they wouldn't have waived it off.

Right after Thornton scored the EN goal, you hear this fan screaming over the commentator talking all sorts of obscenities that you could clearly hear.
