Chris Heston threw to first base last night with nobody covering.

But I can't even laugh at it, because Granderson dove back to first anyway.

Anybody have HBO? Seen the new series The Brink? I can't tell if I like it or not yet -- has some funny Dr Strangelove feel to it -- but I can tell that I think I'd like to bang Carla Gugino.

Rock Strongo

My mind spits with an enormous kickback.

What?!? First I heard of it...what did you hear?

"DTD" in my fantasy league

Matz said he felt some tightness in his left lat/arm during his first start, but he didn't notice it during Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
Spin:
The tightness apparently wasn't much of an issue, as Matz was brilliant in the second start of his career, striking out eight batters over six scoreless innings, with just two hits and two walks allowed. He even added another RBI, though he couldn't match last weekend's heroic 3-for-3, 4-RBI effort at the plate. The lat tightness is worth keeping an eye on, but Matz should be fine to make his final start before the All-Star break, scheduled for Sunday against the Diamondbacks at Citi Field.

Oh that...that's nothing, just Terry Collins abusing another young arm.

From my perspective, there was a contract that the Yankees didn't have an option of not paying. I think they were just hoping that A-Rod would give in and not take it. Fuck them all.

Yeah, I didn't think they had an option either... but who knows.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "redseating" used as a verb to describe being late to a proverbial party?

I didn't pick the start date to make the picks on

As super utility guys go, Justin Turner > B _Rock Holt, and it's not even close.

I invented the verb 'redseat', after Redseat consistently posted breaking neews that another poster had already posted.

Once Redseat learned that my new verb had caught on and was being used, he stormed off in outrage. Poor Redseat. His skin is a little too thin for certain message boards.

So glad the Mets let Turner go for nothing.

Anybody know, if someone is suspended for PEDs, they're not eligible for the playoffs. If they are traded does that change at all? Are they banned for the playoffs or just ineligible for the team he was on when he got caught?
