You may be underestimating Luke Weaver. He's struggled this year but looked pretty solid last year. Or is it that you are overestimating him?

From what I heard, he looked good in his rehab starts. I didn't hear anything about his velocity in those games though. I did hear that his velo in the 1st inning was around 90 MPH.

Sure, he may have been solid last year, but this year he has not been. Except against these hapless batless hitters.

Heard that they were looking for JC to throw 80 pitches or so. Which tonight means he might make it through the 3rd, maybe even an out or two in the 4th.

At least Cueto is trending well. 4 runs then 1 run then no runs. 28 pitches then 12 pitches then 8 pitches.

Well, Bum was not Bum-like in his first start back. The results were good, but he gave up 8 hits and a couple of walks, so was not real precise with his control.

Still better than JC is doing tonight, right?

Maybe this is all a ploy by the team to fool the league into thinking they are just a mediocre team. Play great for a month, then awful and keep alternating. But then surprise everyone in September and take the division crown, and dominate the playoffs!
