The Giants have a pair of five-homer games at Oracle Park this season. They had two five-homer games total in this ballpark's first 21 seasons.
And to you, that's bad...? Very AL-esque

Well this is a very possible WS matchup for the Giants, and some of the games are gonna be slugfests. Most fans enjoy those. I know, you're not most fans. You're my alt.

Hey, I think it’s been a very entertaining game.

I've no problem with the Gs hitting HRs.

One thing is for sure, moving in the fences has helped our hitters immensely

I’ve had to endure listening to the Astros announcers since I’m in the blackout market. And it’s still been entertaining even with their stupid ass comments.

FYWW! Great bullpen work as usual from the best pen in baseball since June 1. Picked up a rough start for Wood.

Big assist from the home run derby to win this one.

Big win, let's take the series tomorrow!

Not a horrible start from Lumber, but not great. JJ was not good.

The rest of the bullpen? FYWW.

Has it? How many HRs have gone out to right/center as opposed to previous years?
I don't have the data in front of me but one of the HRs I saw in the game last Sunday for us was not a HR last year.

I think the crazy HR totals we are hitting this year speak for themselves

Maybe, but I think it's tough to distinguish how much is systemic teaching, how much is park differential, and how much is player change. Are HRs up for opponents as well? If so, which areas of the park?

I think its a combo of things.

Just a hunch. Sure maybe not the only factor but it's gotta be a major one.

From the Padres to the Dodgers to the Astros, every time the Giants play against an elite team, they look like they’re evenly matched. That shouldn’t be a surprise by now, but it’s also not not a surprise. It’s just so obvious now.

Giants win 8-6. A lineup without Posey, Belt, Longoria and Kris Bryant hit five home runs. The Giants will have Bryant tomorrow, and could have everyone else within a week or two.
