Today reminds me just how old I am. I became a baseball, and a Giants', fan right at the peak of his career. When I began to swing a bat, I tried to emulate his swing. I fell in love with playing first base because of him. Hard to believe that was 32 years ago.

The whole bullpen has been a crap shoot this year. It’s like they draw straws in the pen to see who’s gonna shit the bed.

Gotta figure the entire bully will be blown up for next season. Doval is probably the only guy you can say with confidence will be back. Tier two, which is WAY down the confidence scale, would be Rogers and Brebbia, MAYBE Long. Everyone else might just be swept out.

I’m 63. Started following the giants when I was 9 or 10. Loved watching Mays play.

Still a kid .... I actually went to a 1954 WS game and saw him play. Being 8 at the rime ... I have little recollection of any of it. It had to be a great game because my father talked about it forever. ... spent quite a bit of my youth in the Poloi Grounds ... childhood and baseball just seemed to go together ....
