I want to see Junis do well.
Today reminds me just how old I am. I became a baseball, and a Giants', fan right at the peak of his career. When I began to swing a bat, I tried to emulate his swing. I fell in love with playing first base because of him. Hard to believe that was 32 years ago.
Dang, dude. You are OLD!Thanks for reminding me how old I am. Willie Mays was my inspiration.
And with the the Giants have their second win in what, the last three weeks?
Really don't understand why Marte is even on the active roster. I say send him down and bring up Joey Marciano. Here we go, gents. A four run lead going into the 9th is now a 1 run lead, with a Cub on 2nd.
Giants' relievers have inherited 4 runners tonight, 3 have scored. (so far) Not good.
Tell FZ he gets to play DFA bingo if he does that and he might just soil his underroos a little but.Really don't understand why Marte is even on the active roster. I say send him down and bring up Joey Marciano.

Willie Mays was my first baseball card, 1962, when I was 7 years old. It came from the back of a cereal box. Thanks for reminding me how old I am. Willie Mays was my inspiration.

60 is the new 40I don’t feel quite as old now.

Still a kid .... I actually went to a 1954 WS game and saw him play. Being 8 at the rime ... I have little recollection of any of it. It had to be a great game because my father talked about it forever. ... spent quite a bit of my youth in the Poloi Grounds ... childhood and baseball just seemed to go together ....Willie Mays was my first baseball card, 1962, when I was 7 years old.
