Every once in a while they seem to have these total bullpen melt downs. Not just a pitcher here and there ... all of them seem to have issues ... yesterday ... after Alvarez closed out the 5th inning. We paraded in 4 relievers. All of them were scored on. In the 4 innings they worked ... 7 hits and 3 walks. Just don't understand how they all seem to struggle at the same time.

I'm just glad this doesn't really happen that often .. just strange to see an entire pen struggle at once.

I also really hope this is just a blip for Gausman. We really need him for the final run ....

Gaus was gawd awful in the first. He almost didn’t make it out. But then he found his splitter, and he was fine. Unfortunately the damage had already been done (both in runs and pitches).

He clearly has a mechanical problem right now. Hopefully one of the 17 pitching coaches can identify it soon.

No. The damage was done when JJ gave up the slam. We were in the game until then. Gas was not good, but he didn't lose us the game.
