Man, Yaz has fallen off a cliff at the plate lately, hitting like .100 in the last week. He can play defense, so there's that.

His 2022 season has mirrored the team's 2022 season. I think his OPS has dropped 100 points in the past 45 days.

Eh. Casali is a backup catcher. They don't get traded during the season, unless its a package deal or the return is a low C grade level prospect.
Ruf cannot play defense, is a platoon player and hasn't hit that well as a DH type. I cannot see another team wanting to grab him (unless it was on the waiver wire).

Maybe you are right. But I still like both and would like to see both back next year.
