Just to compare BQR

Wood 2/8 (25%)
Kershaw 0/5 (0%)
Maeda 0/2 (0%)
Ryu 0/8 (0%)
Hill 3/3 (100%)
Urias 2/5 (40%)

Looks like two things:

1) Dodger bullpen does not allow inherited runners to score very often.

2) Dodgers don't seem to pull their pitchers with lots of runners on base (their starters are either really good, or they err on the side of caution.)

Wow. How is it we manage to get two hits and work a walk against Jansen and still score 0 runs? Oh yeah, that's right, I'm asking about the 2017 Giants.

When the Giants scored 11 runs against the Pirates, I snarkily predicted that they wouldn't score 11 runs in the next week.

Well, through three games since then, they have 7 runs. So they have three games in which to score four runs or more. Can they do it?

I'll go first: NO :)

I think I simply said that they would take the rest of the week off. I guess scoring 7 runs since then doesn't mean that they took the rest of the week off, just most of it. And I doubt they score that much in the next four games.

Nunez went yard TWICE for the Sox today...

Outside of Bum, have the Giants had anyone hit two HRs in a game this year?

It's that Green Monstah

Here's some trivia to take your mind off these bums, got this from the White Sox board (that's not relevant to the answer):

Who is the only #1 draft pick in the baseball Hall of Fame?

It was ironic last year that the highest ever draft pick to make it to the hall and the lowest ever draft pick to make it to the hall went in the same year.

How many Heisman Trophy winners are in the Hall?

Good one, I don't know. Just looked at the list of Heisman winners, the ones in the Hall are Paul Hornung, Doak Walker, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Earl Campbell, Marcus Allen, Tim Brown and Charles Woodson is a lock. So a fair amount are.

Oh and OJ Simpson is still in the Hall too LOL

Hornung, Campbell, and Simpson were all #1 overall draft picks too
