Seaweed!! Boch easing him in at the 8 spot. Wonder why he doesn't hit the pitcher 8 and Seaweed 9?

Oxy and Herk with Lohse ownage; Brewers with no experience v. Moses.

Beer those beering beerers....6-2 good guys.

Have wondered this as well at points during the season. Just assumed it was something Bochy was against

This is one of the few times that I would be in favor of doing the whole "Pitcher batting 8" thing. Batting an OBP guy in the 8-hole is a complete waste. You need an aggressive power hitter in that spot. If you are going to bat Craw 7, might as well have Heston batting 8. Craw is just about the PERFECT #8 hitter. He is aggressive, but he is still under control. You cannot ask for much more for that slot.

If you dont want to throw Aoki into the leadoff spot right away (I understand the thought process), than make him the 9 hitter. He has next to zero power, so he is a worthless 8 hitter.

There is some legit doubt that it makes any significant difference, even over the course of a year. However, with Seaweed at the bottom of the order, it seems like a perfect situation to do it.

While I understand DFAing Arias, I am not a fan of the roster-construction now. Only 1 backup infielder? Ouch.

But I understand that our util players are the weakness on the team, so I cant argue too fervently.

The infield scrubs from the farm system helped that scrub Giants produced pitcher, though.

Basically, he just got lucky.

Just isn't fair for opposing teams to have to face this lineup...

couple of well struck balls finding gloves. Would like to see Seaweed make Lohse work here.
