He doesn't hit 100 anymore, but I suspect that is by design. I think he took some miles off to increase accuracy and movement.

Dude is a pitcher now. It really is fun to see his improvement in such a short time.

Agree, plus I guess he actually learned a couple more specialty pitches.

Counsel wanted to get tossed there. That was obvious.

Casilla's shakiness of late is why we are seeing Bochy sort of mix and match lately. I trust him to do this as well as any manager in the game.

Pick up 1/2 game on LA and Pit. Keep pace with the Cubbies.

1/2 game out of 1st place in the West. 2 1/2 back of the #1 WC spot. 2 1/2 ahead for the #2 WC.

Everyone is going off on what an amazing rookie Duffy is. But I still feel that Heston should end up as a bigger ROY contender. He is currently leading the team in ERA and tied for the lead in Wins (most wins for a Giants rookie since Matt Cain's 13).

But, let's not forget one thing...

Chris Heston is 27. Madison Bumgarner is 25. This still blows me away.

Time to mancrush (ewww) on a new Hebrew: Joc Pederson. Or does being a Dodger make him unattractive? Does that apply to Koufax?

Loved Koufax, loved Shawn Green...love Pederson. How the F did the Giants not draft him???

:puzzled:

I know you're joking, but EVERYBODY missed him - I doubt the Dodgers thought much of him, or they would have drafted him higher.

Yea, he was a complete under-the-radar prospect. Much like Trout was (though not nearly to the same extent).

But Pederson was in the Giants back yard. Even right down the street from Stanford, and the Giants scout and draft from Stanford A LOT.

Yeah, but he's from Palo Alto...I guess he didn't look like much in HS....
