We may be playing the worst ball in all of the land, but we still get to keep the trophy on our mantle for another 3 months.

Blue Jays are doing their best to f*ck up this game. Took a lead in the bottom of the 8th (though had a runner on 3rd with 1 out and couldn't get him in), blew the save in the 9th (Rasmus let a ball bounce over his head for a single), then got the leadoff guy on base in the bottom of the frame (Bonafacio no less) and couldn't get a ball out of the infield.

I'm just glad that after this game we'll be done playing the Reds for the regular season. Something about playing them I just don't enjoy (they usually beat the crap out of us, but there's something else about it).

I know what you mean. I consider them one of the best overall teams and wouldn't be surprised seeing them in the WS

That was terrible. Little league baseball, can't make those mistakes if you expect to beat the Reds.

Ump missed that call, then the next pitch Bruce doubles. This is again rough to watch.

I replied to the post in the prospect thread, but after I did, this thought occurred to me as well. I would be SHOCKED if any true prospects get traded this year. But maybe this is more so for next year (just to get him on the radar of the "experts").

Maybe they just really like him and want to see if he is ready to fight for a job...
