Morrison had one good week then became...well Morrison.

Zunino with two fluke hits and another high pop up after dropping his shoulder but...

Hart has had maybe 2 well hit balls all season. He has so much spin coming off the bat it is just weird. To me it looks like he is using more wrist as if he is scared to drive with his legs (knees).

Jones is not a MLB hitter despite his average. His speed gets him enough hits to keep his average up, but the AB's themselves are flukish more than not. If you can't drive a ball to the gap, it is going to be hard to keep up an average above .250.

Chavez is a hacker who is nice as a reserve, but no playoff team would have him start 4 or 5 times per week.

I know, nothing new to report here. Just amazing we are even close to a wild card spot.

Agree on all those. Smoak and Lomo are the same guy essentially. They could switch jerseys one day and I wouldn't notice. I could see Lomo getting demoted for Smoak soon and then the reverse happening two weeks later.

Jones shouldn't be a top of the order guy right now. I know he has to start by default but stick him down to 8 or 9. Let Ackley and Miller/Taylor be the top 2. Probably still won't be much improved but what do you have lose at this point other then another 2-1 game

I won't waste energy wondering about what would happen if only Jones were hitting 8th and Ackley/Taylor/Miller were moved up.

Everybody on this team is an easy out when runners are in scoring position, even against shitty pitchers, and it's been that way for weeks and weeks.

Zunino like clock work. goes 3-19 every two weeks then hits his home run. .200 on target.
