After the ground ball by Estrada, I was about to make myself content with the split, just like I said I would. Yet, inwardly, I was feeling a bit disappointed. Ohh boy, am I ecstatic now!

One could argue that but for a CPBS, we should have swept them. One could also argue that we should have lost 3/4. Anyway, DUCK THE FODGERS.

Reviewing it, it seemed like that safe call at second was kind of a gift as well.

I’m fairness, Ruf got umpjacked to 2-1 from 3-0. Could have maybe walked in that run too. But you’re not wrong. Taylor made the worst play of that inning imho. Way to casual on that play with not charging and lazy throw. Hero of that 9th was Vosler. Amazing eye at the plate to draw that walk and then the good lead and hustle to get to second.

As weird as it is, I thought he was safe if originally called that way, but not enough evidence to overturn either original call.

I wasn't able to watch the game but followed on Gameday. At least, based on their pitch trackers, most calls seemed legitimate.

Was wondering about the overturned call at 2nd though. I couldn't see it but wondered if it was a good or bad call on the part of the ump in NYC.

didn’t see it live, but the replay looked too close to overturn. Would like to hear from those who watched in real time.
