offense is officially back. took awhile but they are back. defense gets talib and armstead back after the bye and the d will be back to elite. there is clear sailing to the sb now i dont see how we can be stopped.

Don't forget Veeren is back also. We might have lost Gregory and Nink too. Carter seemed OK, but he has lost some speed. Was surprised that Buchannon did not see playing time...

i watched carter a little and yea hes lost speed, he seems much bigger and slower.

this team will be deadly coming out of the bye. all healed up and elite on defense and offense now. armstead better be ready to go.

release the gronken! it looks like the gronk of old is back. it feels like hes not gunna get injured hes been taking big hits and spills and it hasnt fazed him. thats huge i was holding my breathe everytime he touched the ball but he looks like a beast. healthy gronk means superbowl!

LOL, exactly what I saw, he got a helmet very near the knee, actually on the thigh, which slid up and tapped him in the balls. That shit hurts.

The Gronken is a big, fast and strong beast. He needs to be a bit more careful in his play because we need him for the long haul.

I'm happy, ignoring that injuries seem especially brutal this year.

The offense showed something, even against a bad steelers team, and I think the bye and hopefully a chance to heal up helps them continue to improve the comfort level. Dobson has been close all season and I'm hoping this week is a sign of things to come. The defense struggled at times but took the ball away at some opportune times. Injuries are really making it tough, though. I'm not sure if they can make up for all of them.

Elite. You will still be without Vince, Mayo, Kelly the three main pieces on the D. I just hope we can go from 31st against the run to maybe 17th,

Our secondary is going to continue to get banged up if the front seven can't stop the run.

The front seven isn't magically going to start being able to stop the run, so look for current trends to continue.

This defense could have been spectacular by the end of the year, but losing the guys they did, I think we can expect to see a lot of points scored on them. It's unfortunate, but if the offense can keep this momentum going (the last 6 quarters of play out of them were stellar), they may still have a shot.
