#6ND @ #12 Clemson: Pre Game Thread

This is the game I been waiting for. This is the true test for ND. Yes GT was a nice win but we found out this week that GT was a fraud. It was still a nice win but playing Clemson will tell us a lot.
This game will tell us if playoffs look good or this team with all the injuries will just be a good team.
A win here and I think ND goes 12-0 or 11-1. A Loss here and this team goes 10-2 or 9-3.


College Game Day will be there. This game is BIG.

I really cant wait for Sat night. I really wish this game was at home.

I think next to possibly Stanford, Clemson has the best defense we face all year. I think we're strong enough to win, though it'll probably be dependent on whether we turn the ball over and if so, when. Their QB has the advantage against our secondary and our front 7 has the advantage against their run. Offensively, we probably have the best O-Line they'll see all year, but most certainly had better be the best they've seen to this point. On the other hand, Clemson ranked in the top 10 last year in Defense against the Rush, Reception and Pass.

Clemson lost to @GTech last November though 28-6 for whatever that's worth, their only other losses were to @GEORGIA and @Florida State. No home losses, hmm...though Boston College, Louisville and Syracuse play them close with Louisville playing them almost the same 2 years in a row now. The same Louisville team that beat us 31-28 @ND. Is our offense better than most ACC offenses? With Zaire healthy I'd probably answer yes, but with Kizer and having a scaled back playbook? I'd say not likely though we may have better talent at a position or two.

Should probably be a pretty good game, but we'll see.

Honestly I'm not sure how good Clemson is on offense or defense they've played Wofford, Appalachian State, and Louisville (they lost a lot on offense from last years team and some on defense) so I think this will be more of a true test for Clemson.

I'm a die hard Clemson fan. Don't get me wrong. But I hope it rains. But only in Section UT. F---er. I'm close to wanting Notre Dame to win.

It's ok you can root for Notre Dame it isn't as bad as many haters try to make it out to be.

I thought I heard it could be played in heavy rain. If anything I think that actually would benefit Notre Dame as I believe they have the better O-Line and running game.

Won't be able to make cuts for shit, but our O line can put the D on roller skates. Will just need to hold on to the ball. FYI latest models show this thing pushing in the Carolinas up to NJ. Could be pretty ugly, but man, if that ain't football. Love it.

I'm not sure where this is coming from but I agree he is likely leaving after this season even though it would be amazing if he stayed.

I just felt like saying it. We are watching an amazing athlete. Same with a player like Fuller. We haven't had a WR like Fuller since Floyd. Just watching Top talent is fun.

I hope 1 day we get that Nasty pass rusher.
