The hottest team in the NBA. Philly in 5.
I honestly have no idea who will win the series.
I may sound contrarian here, but here goes nothing:
With the injury situation surrounding Embiid, I think Miami has a real good chance... in fact, I make them the slight favorite. Why?:
If I had to make a bet now... I'd say Miami in 6.
- Miami is more experienced, Philly is much less so.
- Spolstra is a very good coach.
- Philly has played a whole lot of craptastic teams lately... it's gonna be a lil bit of an adjustment to face a legitimate playoff team game in and game out.
- Finally, yeah... the longer Embiid is out, the better Miami's chances are.
I still can't believe that crap... I'm gonna miss posting this img:The only counter point is that they said the same thing about the Eagles in the playoffs.....

Feel like the 76ers were the worst possible matchup for the Heat unfortunately. 76ers should close this out in 5.
They're actually not. Miami & Philly played 3 extremely close games in the regular season.
I feel much better about this series than I would have felt about a Raptors or Cavs series
LOL. I probably don't watch enough Eastern Conference basketball. Generally I feel you and I are on the same wavelength basketball wise, but recently you've seemed to disagree with most of what I said. Not a problem, you're probably right, I just need to brush up more I guess.
I usually go with the teams who are playing well and also who have certain matchup areas they can exploit when I look at series. That's why I'm going with the Jazz over the Thunder. But I guess I also picked Celtics over the Bucks, so what the hell do I know.
The thing about Philly is unlike Toronto & obviously Cleveland, they don't have that one perimeter player who can take over the game with jump shot after jump shot like Lowry/DeRozan and Lebron can.

In fairness to @bksballer89, I think he was talking about a guy who can routinely create their own outside shot.
