So my dad turned me on to a baseball betting 'system' or trick he thinks works (I haven't done the math but it seems plausible)

He says if a team has a long losing or winning streak, 5+ games, and then they win or lose to break the streak, you bet on them to win or lose again the next game. Basically a streak ender gets repeated.

Giants lost 5 in a row, won their last game, so we'll see if it works tonight

I have the advantage of not being a crusty old Boomer like you. He's turning 87 in August but his father lived to 95 and he's pretty healthy so I think I get a fair amount more years with him.

Just sending Soler up time after time with RISP isn't working. We're at the old insanity idiom, something has to change. Move him down (if possible), relegate to a pinch hit role? IDK but this but if the goal is to completely destroy his confidence, I'd say we're pretty much there

You want legendary offense suckitude, check out the White Sox this year. They are scoring just under 3 runs a game, they've scored 186 runs this year. Next lowest is 227. Giants have 273 before tonight
