I am hoping this is NOT his last start. I am hoping he pitches 7 innings of 1-run ball.
But you root how you want to root...

I will take it, but it wasn’t a prediction. It was a rooting interest. He is 85.7% there. Nice call, Cal!
If he does well, it is better for the Giants. If he has value, than maybe another team will want said value. To quote someone way smarter than I:
Who cares? It doesn't matter.
If we were contending, I'd care about w/l. As it is, I just want to get on with rebuilding the rotation.
Nonetheless, it looks like Poop is going to keep his spot. On pace for five and dive.

It matters because if he does well the Giants could possibly flip him
If this series has taught me anything, its that the Giants may not be able to run with the big dogs in this pennant race. That may change come August 1st.Worst run differential in baseball. (updated 6/2)
Baltimore -121
Detroit -95
Miami -80
Giants -76
We're going the wrong way!

You really think Blach is a worthy piece of the future? He is a #4 to swingman on a moderate to competing team at best. He is not a needle mover by any stretch of the imagination. He is a dime-a-dozen type player.1. He's not going to "do well"
2. His starts could go to someone (Sewage, Bleeech, etc.) who might be a piece of the future.

Suarez MAY be serviceable, but also is almost certainly not a needle mover.
I would rather try to get something for Sammy than cut bait on him to showcase a couple snooze-fest tossers.
He's been doing better than any of our starters so far. Only Bumgarner is close. I'm aware that's not a high bar but he needs to keep pitching so we can trade him.1. He's not going to "do well"
