Man the NL West standings as of tonight are so....just. All 5 teams have around the same number of runs scored, very tight range. But then the runs against, goes very clearly from top down, 1-5 in RA also 1-5 in standings.

Dumb question, who is Broadway?

Michael Broadway is a RH relief pitcher. He was drafted by another team 10 years ago and has been bouncing around the minors ever since. The Giants signed him last year and he played in Fresno (AAA). He's a strikeout pitcher but with control issues, so both his Ks and BBs are unusually high. So I guess the answer is "he's one of the Giants' current projects". He could be deadly (and a future closer) if he can learn control. As an example, Brian Wilson had the same problems until he didn't anymore, and then he became "the beard".

Edit: Oh, forgot to say that Broadway made his major league debut with the Giants this season.

Much appreciated. I live in LA so I don't catch every game or every transaction the Giants make, pertaining to who they are shuttling back and forth from Sac. Thanks for the clarity you have given.
