Posey gets to move over to 1B day, good chance for rest and keeping him in the lineup. Would have liked to use Hector at C since he has a better bat, which we will need.

More Perez!

Boch hates kids. Perez will need to have more success at the plate before he gets any ABs. .571 just ain't gunna cut it at tis level, kid.

Uggla with ownage on Le Gaudin; Knaves hitting .228 against him overall.

Nobody with ownage on Minor, but only Pence has as many as 10 ABs against him. Gerald is 3-6.

Schtup those schtupping schtupers....5-2 good guys.

From Baggs today:

Casilla is way ahead of schedule in his rehab following surgery to remove a bone cyst from just below his right knee, and it’s looking like he could return well ahead of early estimates.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Casilla would be ready to throw off a mound within two weeks and could be back a few days after that. Originally, the Giants expected Casilla to be out until after the All-Star break.

From Baggs:

Injury Updates:
Marco Scutaro tried taking batting practice for the first time since injuring his pinky finger on Tuesday. He accomplished the first step by getting the batting glove on hsi hand while wearing a splint to keep his pinky straight. He didn't appear to take any hard cuts, and when asked how it felt, he gave the universal hand signal for "so-so."

He'll be fitted with a custom orthotic splint when the team returns home on Monday.

As for Angel Pagan and his curiously lingering hamstring strain, he looked 100 percent healthy while doing pregame work. Bochy wouldn't commit to activating him on Monday, but he'll come off the DL at some point on the next homestand.

Giants are showing they can score off of Mike Minor even without Pablo Sandoval while Minor shuts out other teams. That proves how pathetic other teams offenses are compared to the Giants.

Gaudin makes a mistake and Johnson delivers an RBI single to cut the lead to 3-2

Next pitch is a flyout to center, we head to the 5th

When was the last time a team scored 5 runs off of Mike Minor? Minor has been shutting down almost everyone.

From the replay on mlb.com, Posey crushed that double to center. And Upton totally misplayed that. He jumped, and it almost hit him in the waist.

Glad to see Posey's bat very much alive. And Gaudin giving us another QS.
