I don't even have to tell you that both were Dodger LHP's. Case closed

You will forget about the postseason in 20 years.

Willie Mays - in 89 AB’s had 12 hits hit .247 and 1 HR

The Kershaw that is pitching today is not the same that has been dominant for a decade. He has had too many injuries build up and he no longer has the velocity he used. What made him so hard to hit was the MPH variance between his fastball and slider, but now they are identical. He topped out at under 92 MPH on his fastball last night.

Why the dodgers would put out a player who has been ravaged by injuries on short rest is beyond me. Compound that with the Redsox lineup being by far the best in the majors and he was set up for failure. Even then 7 hits in 7 inning is respectable....3 of the hits going the distance is not.

Kershaw is clearly transitioning from dominant pitches, to wily pitching, and that is not an instant thing. I still think over time he puts that together and extends his career for some time and stays at around or just below ace level.

lets not say that he pitched so poorly yesterday... Really the question was why did he stay in the game after the 6th?

He went 7 innings, but the dodgers NEVER had the lead. and played from behind the whole game of a win or DIE game...

Usually in a win or die game, the team plays more aggressive with their bullpen... but that didn't happen here, they just kept Kershaw in to turn a 2-1 game into a 3-1 game into a 4-1 game...

and even with letting up 4 runs, he still had a 1.00 WHIP

Does anyone think the Dodgers are not going to be in the world series again next year to lose to an AL team? I have an idea for a new logo for them.

Listening to Michael Lombardi bitch about Hue Jackson was a source of great joy for me. To see someone fail so horribly with the exact same franchise toss out judgments is great fun.

THANK YOU RED SOX!!!

LA fans would have been fucking unbearable this year after signing Lebron and then having their team win a championship. We can only hope the Saints kick the Rams ass this year.

I really don’t get why you hate hue so much. He made your team look good losing. What is better than that for a team that is still in rebuilding mode???

If the postseason were your only criteria, no Viking would ever be picked for NFL
:wash:

Also, not quite the same, you never see a Vikings QB drafted do ya? And the Vikings weren't always bad in the post season just the Super Bowl.

Close games are great but Hue isnt the answer when you have a great coaches around him and a good GM. Hue will be an OC somewhere, he just isnt a good head coach
