This is week 6 of 8 for our regular season. Pick all games on Saturday. 3 points for regulation win, 2 points for OT win, 1 point for OT loss, no points a for regulation loss. Only those who signed up are eligable, except there are still two teams that have not been selected, Montreal and Washington. If you are interested and have not signed up yet please add your picks and let me know with your picks which team you will pick as. Good luck to all. With the first games facing off at 1:00pm on Saturday November 9th picks are by 12:45pm on November 9th.
Remember this year there is 500 vCash to the winner.
For the period we use as our regular season standings will be posted weekly and playoff spots with seeding done like the NHL will do it. The top three per division make the playoffs then the next two best teams per conference. For a tie-breaker in the standings assuming the total points are tied, the first tiebreaker will be the team with the greatest number of regulation wins will be seeded higher. If this does not break the tie, we will look at the prior weeks standings for the break, whatever team has the highest rank the prior week would win the tiebreaker. I will continue to go back each week to find the tiebreaker if needed. The playoffs will be in division playoffs for the first two rounds just like the new NHL format.
