He is definitely the most overpaid and overhyped QB in the NFL right now by fans. He has one good/lucky 4-game run in the playoffs and next thing you know HOF QB talk starts by the fans.

He owes Rahim Moore a gift package. If it wasn't for the play he doesn't move on in the playoffs and have that magical year. I've never gotten the Flacco hype. The one good thing about him is he does play well in big games, but seems like for the majority of the season he is average at best.

I am a firm believer that if Rahim plays that ball better, Flacco isn't even a Raven right now.

As far as the Ravens go. I know a lot of people don't like them. But I find myself generally pulling for them in the NFC when it doesn't involve Denver... Ed Reed sorta got me hooked on them.

I mostly like the teams we've seen be bad though.

Browns, Bengals, Titans/Oilers, Jaguars... Teams that we have seen have a few good years but some REALLY bad years too. Those are the team I pull for the teams that we don't see a lot of deep into the season. Bills too. It's funny when I was young the Bills went to those 4 championships in a row... Since there very little, and the Patriots were the bad team.

I would agree with all of that. I would also say in that playoff run Flacco threw up a lot of 50/50 balls that his guys just happen to be the guy to come down with the football. I remember one touchdown where Boldin was triple covered and somehow he was the guy to come down with the football. All Super Bowl runs in my opinion require talent mixed in with some luck.

I've just had a couple of really bad encounters with Ravens fans. Heck on this board a Ravens fan and I had a bet of whose team would do better. I think that was our 2015 season where they didn't even make the playoffs. The Ravens fan just lost it as he couldn't comprehend how the Broncos were better than the Ravens. The meltdown is still talked about on the General Board every once in a while.

So because of that I don't mind seeing them lose one bit. I'm also not a fan of Ray Lewis. Just something about the guy that always rubbed me the wrong way and then you include the helping a couple of guys possibly get away with murder doesn't help.

I'm also not a fan of the Ravens. Had a few Ravens fans trolling us here after our SB loss to the Seahawks and I tend to be pretty unforgiving about fans with bad ettiquette. But I don't dislike them any more than the Patriots or Steelers or any other would be 5th team on my list. I'd like to see the Broncos blast them in the playoffs at some point.

My secret delight is the Patriots have a 40 year old Brady making Belichek look brilliant and I know in the not too distant future it will all crumble to dust.

I'm interested to see over the next few weeks who this Patriots team is this year. Yeah they destroyed the Saints but they also made the Vikings the week before look like Super Bowl contenders and Bradford look like an MVP candidate. So while they did what they needed to do and did better against Brees than I thought they would on defense I still just am not all that impressed with that win.

They have At Tampa Bay and home against the Falcons that should be a great test to see where they truly are. And Carolina's defense against that Patriot offense should be a fun match up.

I agree the Patriots have work to do, but -just how long can Brady do it? Brady is the difference maker on this team. I can recall only two other QB play past 40 - YA Title and George Blanda. Manning lost his ability to throw the ball in a very rapid period of time. Next injury - Brady will not come back the same.

Very good point. Brady has been a machine in the NFL and probably no QB has done a better job of doing everything possible to take care of his body. Even the most fit though eventually have that catch up.

JGarap - His initial contract is running out - so it will be interesting what Brady does next year - because JG can't sit on the bench his entire career. IMO - JG is not that good.

Yes- Big offseason for Patriots. Grap isn't gonna pass up a big long term deal ti wait on Brady and New England can't pay both QB's starting QB money. New England off-season will be very interested. NE refuses to trade JGarap which makes me think he is their future with his contract being up at end of year.

It would be easier to list 5 teams that I wouldn't mind seeing win a Super Bowl:

1) Broncos
2) Vikings
3) Cardinals
4) Lions
5) Bills

Screw everybody else. If I can't use the Broncos on my list then the Browns get in at #5.
