3-0 good guys B4.

Some batdouchery from Ramos and Huff. Minor moundshattery from Ray, causing himself to throw an additional dozen pitches B3; hard to see him more than a 5 and dive guy today. No mittphukery, no baseclownery.

Gonna need Bird today I think.

Ahhh...the old mittphukery rears its head. Ramos caused an unearned run B4....3-1 good guys.

Midweek day baseball man, it's a real thing.

Ray with a key 9 pitch 5th, goes 6 on 97 pitches. That's the good news.

The batdouchy news is Huff with no outs, bases loaded...GIDP. Koss walks to reload and Yaz....K's

still 3-1 with a ton of RBI left on the bases. On we go to the 7th.

Pitching and defense boys...

Nice to see Walker nail it today

Adames bat heating up (but others are cooling some)

Outstanding bullpen work despite the batdouchery today.

3-1 good guys. No earned runs for the chubbs.

Agreed. Especially JHL and Yaz. On to Minny. Let's take the series in MN and get back home. I wonder how many Giants are going to the Ws game tomorrow? I guess they are calling that mittphukery play by Ramos a hit...one ER for Ray. Bullpen today: 3IP 1H 1BB 2K no runs

Fri - Hicks v. Ober
Sat - Spyder v. Paddack
Sun - Roupp v. Lopez

MN has the pitching advantages on Fri/Sun but all of their SP are five and dive guys. The Twinkies are probably better than their 16-20 record.

Awesome the Giants take the series from a top opponent in the Cubbies. Still doing well on the road. This team has been fun to watch so for this season. Above expectations, but we will see as the season continues. :D  :thumb::whoo:

Chappy made that game-ending play look much easier than it actually was.

He is such a joy to watch. Absolutely unbelievable that he already has 6 errors on the season.

With a scoreless 7th inning, Camilo Doval has not allowed a run in his last 12 outings. He has 9 strikeouts and only 2 walks in 11.1 innings during that stretch.

Thought experiment:

Carlos Correa vs Willy Adames

Correa: 6 years 200 million
2025: .226/.262/.593 2 HR, 12 RBI
2024:: .310/.388/.905 14 HR, 54 RBI

Adames: 7 years 182 million
2025: .230/.314/.672 4 HR, 19 RBI
2024: .251/.331/.794, 32 HR, 112 RBI

Did we make the right move?

I think I’d answer like this. It’s a flawed thought experiment, cuz we were on the hook for way more years/money…but if I did play along with the thought experiment as is, I don’t trust either, but if I had to pick, I’d trust Willy to stay healthier for longer.
