This move seems bogus to me. He hasn't missed that much time and its due to a concussion. Its not like some kind of muscle injury where he needs to get back to 100%. I don't remember other guys needing rehab assignments for concussions. Feels like any easy way to send him back to the minors.

If Melancon ends up closing well, maybe Strickland becomes a piece you can trade for other help?

He's still got a virus. Won't start his rehab for a bit. He needs to get his timing back, so this makes sense to me.
